Berlin Luggage Storage Map
Find the nearest place to drop your suitcase in Berlin: stations, the Hauptbahnhof Gepäckcenter, the airport, and app pickup zones.
Free interactive tool by a Berlin local guide. No signup, no email needed.
Berlin has four reliable ways to store luggage for a few hours or a full day: Deutsche Bahn lockers at train stations, the staffed Gepäckcenter at Hauptbahnhof, manual storage at BER airport, and app-based shop networks like Bounce, Radical Storage, and Stasher. The useful one is always the closest open option for the kind of bag you are carrying. This free tool maps the main Berlin luggage storage points and lets you filter by type so you can plan a bag-free sightseeing day before you leave the hotel.
How to Use This Tool
Open the map, then tap any pin to see what kind of luggage storage it is, the typical price, and a one-line note from a Berlin guide. Use the filter buttons to narrow the map to station lockers, the staffed Gepäckcenter, the airport, or app-based pickup zones, depending on the bag and the day you have ahead.
What the Map Shows
The widget pins the four reliable Berlin luggage storage options: Deutsche Bahn lockers at all major stations (Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstrasse, Zoo, Ostbahnhof, Suedkreuz, Potsdamer Platz, Gesundbrunnen, Alexanderplatz), the staffed Gepäckcenter at Hauptbahnhof, manual BER airport luggage storage, and app-based pickup zones across Mitte, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, and Charlottenburg.
Berlin Luggage Storage Basics
DB lockers cost roughly 4 to 6 euros per 24 hours. Sizes range from carry-on to large suitcase. Payment by coin or contactless card. Hauptbahnhof has the largest bank and live availability is shown in the DB Bahnhof app.
The Hauptbahnhof Gepäckcenter is the safest option. Operated by Rail&Fresh, around 5 to 7 euros per piece for a few hours and 10 to 12 euros for 24 hours. Best for oversized, fragile, or valuable bags.
BER airport storage is in Terminal 1. Around 6 to 12 euros per piece. Useful if you fly out the same day and want to spend it in central Berlin without the suitcase.
App-based services cost around 5 to 8 euros per bag per day. Bounce, Radical Storage, and Stasher partner with shops, cafes, and hotels. Insurance included, no cash needed.
Most hotels store bags after check-out for free. Ask at check-in, not check-out, so you can plan the day around it.
