Berlin Club Picker

Find the Berlin club that fits your night, outfit, group size, and appetite for a difficult door.

Free interactive tool by a Berlin local guide. No signup, no email needed.

Berlin nightlife is not one single dress code. A look that fits Berghain can feel wrong at Sisyphos, and a casual outfit that works at Tresor may be too plain for KitKat. This free Club Picker asks five quick questions and gives you a practical recommendation: one main club, backup options, outfit logic, what to avoid, and a BerlinWalk Door Difficulty rating.

How to Use This Tool

Choose the kind of night you want, how difficult a door you are willing to try, what you would rather wear, who you are going with, and what matters most. The tool matches your answers to a Berlin club profile and returns a main recommendation plus backup options.

What Door Difficulty Means

Door Difficulty is BerlinWalk editorial guidance, not official club policy. Four stars means the hardest doors, where tickets, outfits, and waiting in line still do not guarantee entry. Lower ratings mean a more realistic path for prepared tourists, not automatic admission.

Why Berlin Needs a Club Picker

The usual advice, "wear black", is too simple. Berlin clubs have different cultures. KitKat expects a much more expressive dress-code mindset than Tresor. Sisyphos and Kater Blau can reward playful color and comfort. RSO and Berghain read music-first seriousness and door behavior. The better question is not what color to wear, but which club you are trying to fit.

Before You Go

  • Check the specific event before choosing an outfit. One club can feel different from night to night.

  • Go in a small group if you are trying a selective door. Solo, couple, or two to four people is usually calmer than a large tourist group.

  • Do not arrive visibly drunk. Loudness, aggression, and heavy pre-drinking hurt your chances almost everywhere.

  • Have a backup plan. A no at the door is normal in Berlin and should not ruin the night.
